Do Not Drink … Play!

If you enjoy a beverage every once in a while, leave your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your handbag, your wallet, and leave all money, charge cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Grab only the money you expect to spend on drinks, tipping and only the pocket change you expect to squander and keep the remainder behind.

Pessimistic? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You can have a success following a boozy night out with your buddies and be blessed sufficiently to hook a 25 minute toss at a hot craps table. Hang on to that story because it’s as brief as it gets if you regularly drink alcohol and gamble. The two just do not mix.

Keeping your money at home might be a little dramatic, but defensive measures for drastic actions is compulsory. If you gamble to profit, then do not consume alcohol and bet. If you can afford to blow your money nary a concern, then drink all the gratis booze you can handle, but do not take credit cards and checks to toss into the mix of following squanderings after your drunken head throws away all the cash!

Permit me to carry this a single step further. Don’t drink and then jump on the internet to wager in your best-liked internet casino either. I enjoy a drink from the comfort of my domicile, but due to the fact that I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit at my fingertips, I can not drink alcohol and gamble.

How come? Even though I do not drink a lot, once I drink alcohol, it is certainly sufficient to blur my judgment. I bet, so I don’t drink when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, do not gamble when you do. The two mix up for a decimating, and costly, cocktail.
