Learning From My Gaming Errors
I have been gaming on the net or at land based gambling halls for many years. I have learned, the craving is able to take a hold of you and you will not even see it until you are beaten. Especially if you are on a run. I have been through many thousands of dollars in only a short period of time and still on occasion, I can go too far. It feels like you are just enjoying yourself until you choose to track your losses and the guilt sets in, and then you continue advising yourself "I could win it back" repeatedly. It doesn’t work. Then you get icky in your gut and the harder you try the faster you give away.
When you discover that you are ahead, Remain in the Black! When you begin to give away, don’t tell yourself, "well just maybe one more" a number of times, trust me, this technique RARELY ever functions. Say you are wagering on slots, have a number separate prior to starting your wagering. DO NOT exceed that restriction, no matter how tempting. If you happen to succeed, put that in an alternate cup. Do not bet your earnings no matter what. Once you have wagered through your initial predetermined limit, stop. Back off, whether it’s on the internet or in a land based gambling den, do not stick at the tables or machines. At all times keep in mind, there certainly is another day, other times. Obviously, this process can work for any casino game that you enjoy, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, 21 or any other casino game.
Keep in mind, gambling is supposed to be entertaining not backbreaking, sickening work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If you can’t manage the losses, do not even start.
